A club will sometimes award a dangle for some club or dance associated event but more often it is the dancer who usually purchase the dangle. Examples of dangles are for a convention or particular dance. Other examples include one for dancing in a grass skirt for Dangles can be obtained during a convention or by special order from any of several vendors who deal with square dancing badges.
