NAVIGATION
The page above
represents a typical page of the nutmeg website. It contains (4)
images as follows:
Hayloft
Barn at the top left of this page
Hayloft
Steppers logo at the top
center
Under
Construction warning lower down
Picture
of man working
Note then when the
cursor moves over each of these images a short text message “pops”
up. This indicates that if you click on the image you will be taken
to another page that can be viewed.
Usually this will be another page in this site but it could be
to another sight. You may also
notice that If your browser has the status bar at the bottom of the
page turned on you will also see where clicking on that image will
take you. You can then use
your browser’s “BACK” button on the tool bar to return to a
previously viewed page. Try
it!
There is also the
menu to the left, and the navigation bars at the top and bottom of
most pages to guide you through the site. You should also notice that options
that do not apply to the current page have been “blanked out” where
they do not apply.
Sometimes you will
find text that has an underline like This
or This. These are yet another
way to get around. Note that the text will be blue before you click
and visit that page however after your visit the text will appear
pink or red. Look for them
when you are looking for more information. A good example of this is at the
top of the LINKS
page. Note the list of
underlined selections that move you to other places within the links
page.
All these methods
of navigation can bring you either to another place within the same
page, a different page within the site, or even a different sight
altogether. On the ABOUT
US page and other places they will also allow you to send an
e-mail message
There are
exceptions to all this of course so the “SITE MAP” page is another
way to get around when all else fails. This page lists all the key locations
in this site. The moral
is: When all else fails, click
on anything you see, even open spaces You might get a few nice
surprises.
Note that most
pages have notes at the bottom to show what changes have been made
and how recently.
